A New Era in Cleveland

by AndrewVanosdol 3 years ago

So it has begun. I have now entered the spot with my team where the IRL talent is getting old and I have to look for the likes of CPU generated players to carry on the (somewhat) success of my team. I have way too many players who can be immediately replaced but I feel like the trades I have made this season will help in that direction. I've had to nervously hit the trade button as I watched my long-time franchise RB suit up for a divisional rival in exchange for their star dev rookie, say farewell to Zach Pascal as I have acquired my last piece to my future WR core, and last season I had to endure a grueling season of an Alabama filled QB room. Johnothan Griffin has shown some great flashes in his first handful of games. Newly acquired rookie RB Caleb Boon just had his first 100 yard rushing game for me only 2 games in and WR St. Claire had his first 100 yard game as well. Free agency will see the likes of Derwin "The Berwin James", Aaron Donald, and Myles Garrett in which I hope to bring at least Derwin and Myles back on short deals. As I looked at the rosters around me I saw I was falling a bit behind on the "getting younger" train, but now it's here, the New Era of Cleveland Steamer Football. Chugga Chugga Choo Choo!
